Overview Capital Ford in Carson City is seeking a Detail Manager to oversee our car detailing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in detail and customer service, ensuring that every vehicle meets our high standards. This role requires a hands-on approach, as well as the ability to lead a team in delivering exceptional detailing services. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily detailing operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. Train and mentor team members in various detailing techniques, including buffing, and thorough cleaning processes. Maintain an organized work environment, ensuring all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stocked and maintained. Interact with sales team and customers to provide excellent service, addressing any concerns or special requests regarding their vehicles. Implement best practices for car wash and detailing procedures to enhance customer satisfaction. Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure adherence to quality standards. Drive vehicles as needed for service or customer delivery. Requirements Proven experience in custodial services or car detailing is desired Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Familiarity with detailing equipment and techniques, including buffing. Ability to drive various types of vehicles safely and responsibly. Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary. Strong leadership skills with experience managing or training team members is a plus.
