About the Role As a Facilities Maintenance Lead, you will oversee the operational integrity of our distribution infrastructure, ensuring that building systems and equipment function at peak performance. You will play a critical role in driving safety, continuous improvement, and technical reliability across our facility. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate the daily activities of the maintenance and custodial teams to ensure high service levels. Develop and execute comprehensive preventive maintenance programs to maximize equipment lifespan and minimize downtime. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement to ensure rapid response to facility repair needs. Champion a proactive safety culture, ensuring full compliance with OSHA regulations, hazardous material logs, and emergency evacuation protocols. Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on industrial systems, including motors, switch gears, and HVAC units. Collaborate with cross-functional departments to support facility-wide projects and operational improvements. Oversee personnel management tasks, including team development, performance reviews, and resource scheduling. Participate in budget planning for capital expenditures and facility operating expenses. Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or facility management. Strong technical proficiency in industrial electrical systems, mechanical repairs, and HVAC troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and supervise a diverse team. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and hazardous material management. Ability to work a flexible schedule and remain available for on-call support. Preferred Skills Experience utilizing CMMS or similar maintenance management software. Proven track record in driving continuous improvement or lean initiatives. Ability to operate equipment at heights and perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and interdepartmental coordination.
