Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee and coordinate maintenance operations across our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. As a leader in facilities management, you will supervise maintenance teams, develop and implement maintenance repair procedures, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Your expertise in industrial maintenance and project management will drive continuous improvement initiatives, enhance operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality. Duties Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, managing daily activities and delegating tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects. Oversee the repair, inspection, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), HVAC systems, plumbing systems, and other mechanical infrastructure using schematics, engineering troubleshooting techniques, and diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters. Develop, implement, and monitor preventive maintenance schedules utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Ensure all maintenance activities comply with OSHA safety regulations, safety procedures, and industry best practices to maintain a safe working environment for all team members. Manage facilities maintenance projects from planning through execution, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets to meet operational goals. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify potential issues early; document findings accurately; recommend corrective actions; and oversee their implementation. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, safety inspections, equipment repairs, schematics updates, and compliance documentation in accordance with company policies. Requirements Proven management experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams in a fast-paced environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience repairing mechanical systems including HVAC units, plumbing systems, electrical wiring (high voltage and low voltage), and mechanical systems repair. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, engineering troubleshooting methods, and CMMS software for work order management. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations related to industrial maintenance environments; ability to enforce safety standards effectively. Excellent project management skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks efficiently while managing resources effectively. Effective team management skills with a focus on leadership development; supervising experience is highly preferred. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and coordination across teams. Ability to manage high voltage electrical systems safely; experience working with voltmeters and ohmmeters is essential. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
