Maintenance Supervisor MJ Peterson Real Estate - Amherst, NY MJ Peterson is a family owned and operated real estate company that is seeking individuals with a maintenance background to join our Property Management team! Ideal candidates would be self-motivated, team oriented and customer service focused. Maintenance team members would complete an assortment of tasks including general maintenance, apartment turnovers & property upkeep within our 3000+ unit residential rental portfolio based entirely out of Buffalo, NY. Pay rate commensurate with experience and credentials.

• Responsibilities
• Supervision of Maintenance staff
• Direct Maintenance team
• Coordinate turnovers
• Daily collaboration with Property Manager/Property Management Team
• Responding to resident placed work orders for in-unit maintenance issues
• Participate in the "make-ready" of vacant apartments leading up to new move-ins
• Keep an organized workspace: on-site shop or company vehicle
• Identify issues, investigate causes and engage outside contractors when necessary
• Rotational/flexible on-call shifts
• General property upkeep: picking up trash from grounds, snow removal, etc.
• Assist with preventative maintenance efforts & property inspections
• Strive to have positive interactions with customers & co-workers
• Fill in Tech I and Tech II role/responsibilities as needed.
• Snow removal Qualifications
• General plumbing, electrical and carpentry skills and/or experience
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
