Fleet Maintenance Supervisor We are looking for a reliable and experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance, repairs, and overall condition of our company fleet. This position will work closely with our Truck Manager to ensure all trucks are safe, properly maintained, and available for daily operations. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Work closely with the Truck Manager regarding all fleet maintenance, repairs, and truck-related issues. Keep the Truck Manager updated on trucks that are out of service, repairs being completed, costs, and expected completion dates. Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repairs for company trucks. Schedule and track preventative maintenance, oil changes, inspections, and necessary repairs. Perform regular truck inspections and identify mechanical, safety, or maintenance issues. Coordinate with mechanics, repair shops, dealerships, towing companies, and other service vendors. Follow up with repair shops to ensure repairs are completed properly and in a timely manner. Review repair estimates and invoices and communicate costs with the Truck Manager and management. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, inspections, and service history for each truck. Monitor truck mileage and upcoming maintenance requirements. Respond to driver reports regarding mechanical problems, warning lights, damage, or other truck issues. Coordinate breakdowns, towing, and emergency repairs when necessary. Inspect trucks after repairs and help ensure they are ready to return to service. Help minimize truck downtime by staying on top of repairs and preventative maintenance. Identify recurring mechanical problems and work with the Truck Manager to determine the best course of action. Ensure trucks are kept clean, safe, and in good working condition. Maintain an organized inventory of commonly needed truck supplies, parts, and equipment. Assist the Truck Manager with other fleet-related responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

Previous experience with fleet maintenance, truck maintenance, automotive repair, or a related position preferred. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and preventative maintenance. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with drivers, repair shops, vendors, and management. Ability to manage multiple trucks, repairs, and maintenance schedules at the same time. Valid driver's license and clean driving record required. Must be dependable, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay:

$18.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 45.0 per week
