No Degree RequiredResponsibilities Direct and mentor shift maintenance mechanics in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated high-speed food manufacturing machinery (conveyors, depositors, packaging lines, freezers, and industrial ovens). Partner with the Maintenance Planner to schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs, minimizing unplanned downtime. Serve as the primary point of contact between line supervisors, production leads, and maintenance management to coordinate urgent floor repairs and line changeovers. Enforce company LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), OSHA regulations, SQF, FDA, and GMP food safety protocols across all maintenance activities. Monitor spare parts usage, track work order completion via Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), and reorder critical components as needed. Identify recurring mechanical/electrical failure trends and implement corrective measures to optimize machine efficiency and output.
