Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities and equipment across various settings, including manufacturing plants, residential properties, and commercial facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and ensuring operational efficiency. Candidates with strong mechanical, electrical, and schematics knowledge will thrive in this position. Prior supervisory experience plus. The Maintenance Staff plays a vital role in ensuring safety, functionality, and longevity of our facilities. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery and facilities to prevent breakdowns. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems. Conduct residential painting, and other repair tasks as needed to maintain property standards. Supervise or assist with projects involving mechanical knowledge, electrical experience, or facilities maintenance. Read and interpret schematics for complex electrical or mechanical systems to facilitate repairs. Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities. Lead or assist in supervising maintenance teams during large projects or routine tasks. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with internal teams or external clients regarding facility issues. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience and familiarity with schematics. Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters, welders, and other maintenance equipment. Ability to perform residential painting and general facilities maintenance tasks effectively. Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in team environments. Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination. Knowledge of manufacturing processes and customer service principles related to facilities management. Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
