Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Apartment Manager and Maintenance Person or persons to oversee daily property operations and ensure the seamless maintenance and management of our residential community. This roles combine administrative oversight with hands-on maintenance responsibilities. The ideal candidates are detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication skills, along with a solid background in property management and maintenance practices. You will be responsible for managing lease agreements, coordinating repairs, ensuring compliance with housing regulations, and fostering positive relationships with tenants and vendors alike.
Responsibilities Property Management:
Manage all aspects of leasing, including showing units, processing applications, and executing lease or rental agreements and recordkeeping Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 guidelines, LIHTC requirements, and other relevant legal standards. Handle tenant relations by addressing concerns promptly, managing conflict effectively, and maintaining excellent customer service through clear client communication. Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, and documentation of contracts, lease agreements, maintenance logs, and incident reports. Conduct regular property inspections to identify repair needs and coordinate with vendors or maintenance staff to resolve issues efficiently.
Property Mananagement Qualifications:
high school diploma or equivalent, outgoing personality, customer service or similar experience, computer literacy. Prior property management experience a plus. Maintenance Oversee property maintenance by coordinating repairs, conducting inspections, and performing routine upkeep to maintain safety standards and property appearance.
Including:
grounds maintenance, apartment and common area cleaning Perform building, plumbing, electrical, snow removal and painting repairs as necessary. Operation and maintenance of machinery such as lawn movers, snow blowers and small hand tools.
Maintenance Qualifications:
high school diploma or equivalent, building maintenance, building trade or similar experience, able to lift 50 lbs. unaided. Full or part time to be determined for both positions based upon applicant responses. Some on call required. Housing possibly available as part of compensation
Pay:
$17.50 - $21.00 per hour
