We provide transportation for airlines, charter groups, corporate clients, universities, and scheduled intercity services. We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance department and ensure our fleet remains safe, reliable, and DOT compliant. Responsibilities Manage all daily shop operations. Supervise diesel mechanics, technicians, and service personnel. Develop and oversee preventive maintenance schedules. Ensure all buses meet FMCSA, DOT, NYSDOT, and company safety standards. Monitor vehicle inspections, repairs, recalls, and warranty work. Maintain maintenance records and service history. Manage parts inventory and purchasing. Coordinate roadside repairs and emergency breakdowns. Work closely with Operations and Dispatch to maximize vehicle availability. Monitor shop productivity and technician performance. Control maintenance expenses and shop budget. Negotiate with vendors and outside repair facilities. Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards. Participate in audits and regulatory inspections. Improve fleet reliability and reduce vehicle downtime. Qualifications Required Minimum 5 years of fleet maintenance management experience. Experience managing heavy-duty diesel buses or commercial fleets.
