Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Superintendent to lead and oversee the maintenance and operational functions of our facilities. The Superintendent will manage facilities maintenance teams, coordinate repair projects, and implement preventative maintenance programs to optimize building performance. Responsibilities Lead and supervise facilities maintenance teams, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and according to established procedures. Oversee the repair and maintenance of mechanical systems, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing systems, HVAC systems, and other building infrastructure. Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, coordinating resources, timelines, and budgets effectively. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and safety incidents in accordance with company policies. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for optimizing facility operations while managing costs effectively. Ensure all work adheres to safety regulations while promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team. Experience Proven supervisory experience managing facilities maintenance teams within industrial or commercial environments. Extensive mechanical knowledge including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and general industrial maintenance procedures. Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple repair or upgrade projects simultaneously. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise diverse teams effectively while fostering a safe work environment. Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
