This is responsible supervisory work involving responsibility for efficient and economical maintenance of all Niagara Falls Housing Authority buildings, grounds and equipment. Responsible for snow removal, construction and up-keep of designated Housing Authority properties. Supervision is exercised over Maintenance Mechanics and other subordinates as assigned. The Maintenance Foreman performs related work as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

EITHER:

(A) Graduation from a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university with an Associate's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology or closely related field, and three (3) years experience in one or more of the skilled construction or mechanical trades or professions of a similar nature, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity; OR (B) Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma and five (5) years of satisfactory experience in one or more of the skilled construction or mechanical trades or professions of similar nature, two (2) years of which must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Pay:

$30.44 - $35.47 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
