Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Building Manager to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of our facilities. This role is vital in ensuring that all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems operate efficiently and reliably. The Building Manager will manage repair procedures and ensure compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, and a proactive approach to facilities management. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive operational excellence and maintain a safe, functional environment for all occupants. Responsibilities Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, HVAC units, electrical systems (including high and low voltage), plumbing, and other building infrastructure using schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques. Manage the facilities maintenance including daily tasks, scheduling repairs, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations such as OSHA standards. Conduct inspections of mechanical systems using tools like ohmmeters and ensure compliance with safety protocols related to electrical and industrial maintenance. Lead projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs by coordinating with contractors, managing budgets, timelines, and ensuring quality standards are met. Implement maintenance repair procedures following industry best practices while maintaining a focus on safety regulations and environmental standards. Develop and enforce safety policies while ensuring all work complies with OSHA guidelines. Review schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams to troubleshoot issues efficiently across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Ensure that all facilities meet regulatory requirements through regular audits and inspections. Experience Proven management experience managing facilities within industrial or commercial environments. Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems repair including HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, electrical systems (high voltage and low voltage), and industrial maintenance procedures. Hands-on experience with electrical troubleshooting using tools such as ohmmeters; familiarity with schematics is essential. Strong project management skills to coordinate multiple repair or upgrade projects simultaneously while maintaining safety standards. Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to industrial maintenance; ability to implement safety protocols effectively. Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience managing facilities management operations in complex environments requiring leadership in team management and safety compliance. Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders effectively.
