A Maintenance Planner improves workforce productivity and work quality of a maintenance organization by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning, scheduling, and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access. Reports to Maintenance Manager and maintains liaison between Operations and Maintenance. Through supervision of the Maintenance Administrator, the planner is also responsible for maintenance of records and files essential to meaningful analysis and reporting of maintenance-related matters.

Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) programs for production and facility equipment. Set up and maintain equipment and asset records within the CMMS. Review equipment manuals and vendor recommendations to create PM procedures, tasks, and schedules. Coordinate preventive maintenance activities to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime. Establish and maintain an organized maintenance spare-parts inventory system. Identify, label, catalog, and assign storage locations for maintenance parts and materials. Enter and maintain part information in the CMMS, including descriptions, manufacturers, quantities, and equipment associations. Perform inventory audits and cycle counts, investigating and correcting discrepancies. Monitor inventory levels and recommend replenishment of critical spare parts. Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance storage areas. Support maintenance and operations teams by ensuring timely availability of parts and equipment information.Required Qualifications & Experience:
