What You'll Own Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to hourly maintenance employees across two rotating crews Assign, prioritize, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance work Lead the response to equipment breakdowns and unplanned downtime often in the moment, under pressure Partner with operations to minimize downtime and keep production humming Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance talent Champion a culture where safety comes first, always What You Bring 3-5 years of supervisory or leadership experience A strong mechanical or technical background in a manufacturing, industrial, or maintenance setting Proven ability to lead skilled hourly employees and make sound decisions under pressure Comfort working in a true heavy industrial environment heat, cold, dust, noise and all Ability to work a 4-on/4-off, 12-hour schedule with flexibility when operations demand it Bonus points for: prior maintenance leadership in heavy industrial or metals manufacturing, union-environment experience, PLC knowledge, and familiarity with computerized maintenance/work-order systems.
