Maintenance Director:
Maintain all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, as well as resident care equipment, in safe working condition Implement and oversee preventative maintenance and quality assurance programs Ensure facility compliance with Life Safety Code, NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and other governing requirements Serve as Facility Safety Officer and lead the Safety Committee Prepare, maintain, and submit required reports and documentation Manage inventory and ensure cost-effective procurement of supplies and parts Respond to on-call emergencies and coordinate timely resolution of maintenance issues Communicate effectively with staff, residents, families, vendors, and contractors Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and facility policies Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff Attend required trainings, in-services, and meetingsWhat We're Looking For:
High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 10 years of experience in building maintenance Strong knowledge of Life Safety Code, NFPA standards, and regulatory compliance Experience managing staff and coordinating contractors Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physically able to lift, push, and move equipment over 50 lbs and remain active throughout the day Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Your Next Step Starts Here!
