In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Director of Maintenance in the maintenance and upkeep of the physical plant including building, grounds, and all Maintenance. This position serves as a working supervisor and reports to the Director of Maintenance. Job Description Coordinate and perform refurbishments and repairs in apartment and common area. Assist in the supervision of landscaping maintenance. Coordinate the removal of garbage and trash for the property. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, safety standards, OSHA, EPA fire and health safety codes and understand roll in the Safety & Disaster Plan. Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Maintenance Department budget. Maintain inventory controls. Ensure that department staff adhere to all company uniform and grooming standards. Maintain a positive working relationship with contractors and vendors as well as with residents, visitors, families, and co-workers. Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices. Adhere to all policies and procedures of Senior Lifestyle Corporation. Attend all required training, in-service, and staff meetings. Assist Director of Maintenance in obtaining capital expense bids and dealing with vendors and contractors. Maintain office, shops, and mechanical areas to Senior Lifestyle Corporation standards.
