Assistant Maintenance Manager 2nd Shift Overview We are seeking a proactive and experienced Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our team. This role is vital in overseeing and directing the maintenance department to ensure the efficient operation of plant facilities. The ideal candidate will lead maintenance activities, manage resources effectively, and develop systems that enhance plant performance. The position requires a strong focus on facilities management, safety compliance, and team leadership to support continuous improvement and operational excellence. Duties Lead and manage the maintenance team, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Oversee facilities maintenance management, ensuring all systems operate reliably and efficiently. Supervise electrical systems maintenance, including troubleshooting and repairs. Develop, implement, and improve preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan. Coordinate maintenance repair procedures, ensuring timely response to issues while adhering to safety standards. Manage spare parts inventory to ensure availability of critical components for repairs and maintenance activities. Assist the operations manager in developing comprehensive maintenance systems aligned with plant needs. Utilize project management skills to plan, execute, and oversee maintenance projects effectively. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance department. Use Microsoft Office tools for reporting, scheduling, documentation, and communication purposes. Develop employee relationships to maximize team effectiveness and promote professional growth. Requirements Proven experience in facilities management or maintenance supervision within an industrial or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance repair procedures. Demonstrated ability in team management and leadership skills. Familiarity with project management principles related to maintenance projects. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and regulations applicable to facilities operations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication tasks. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Ability to develop effective maintenance systems that support plant operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Pay:
