  • Friday (Daily start time discussed in interview; typical 8-10 hour days) with occasional calls on the weekend.
Job Summary As a Fleet & Building Manager, your primary focus is to increase company efficiency by minimizing downtime of fleet vehicles, maintaining a professional and welcoming appearance at all company-owned/occupied places of business, and encouraging safe workplace practices. Responsibilities The Fleet and Building Manager will be responsible for all Eco Plumbers locations, including but not limited to Headquarters, Regional locations, Satellite branches, and any other property Eco Plumbers occupies. Monitor, report, and maintain records for all of the following: Fuel records for all vehicles Maintenance for all vehicles and equipment Damage to vehicles and equipment Current and present condition of vehicles and equipment Insurance coverage on all applicable vehicles and equipment Adherence to fleet driving policies Schedule vehicle repairs and maintenance for minimal downtime Ensure that all vehicles and equipment are safe and up to DOT standards Routine vehicle inspections for safety, cleanliness, appearance, and damage Investigate and mitigate direct losses to Eco Plumbers in the event of theft or driving accidents Develop and deploy measures to maintain the safety and security of all Eco Plumbers fleet vehicles and properties: Maintain Samsara incident reports Routine Safety Training, Inspections, and OSHA compliance Safety Planning both on-site and in the field Communication with 3rd party contractors Completion of Market Expansion task during new location launches Maintain a current roster of drivers assigned to fleet vehicles Purchasing of the following: Body Repair Upfit Company tools Equipment Repair New fleet vehicles and equipment to expand and enhance the fleet Maintain building maintenance, including the following: Buildouts of office spaces Waste Management Upkeep of interior of properties Upkeep of landscaping when not provided by the landlord Maintain equipment inventory and sign-out procedures Keep accurate records and communicate with all departments Maintain a regular branch visit schedule focused on resolving fleet and building issues and ensuring that fleet and building procedures are executed the Eco way: Regional Branches
  • Minimum of 1 visit per month Satellite Branches
  • Minimum of 1 visit per month Headquarters
  • Monday & Friday are reserved for office time outside of emergent situations Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in logistics and fleet management Knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma and Toyota Way practices Strong negotiation skills and a strong verbal communicator Proficient in G-suite and adaptable to multiple software applications Highly organized with attention to detail Ability to travel up to 100% of the time An individual contributor who also enjoys winning as a team Certification in OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (or ability to obtain) Willingness to attend out-of-state training courses for required certifications Offers are contingent upon passing a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Benefits & Work Environment Compensation:
$65,000
  • $75,000 annually
Workweek:
Typical schedule is 8 to 10 hour days, Monday through Friday. Must be open to occasional weekend calls or long hours during peak times and extreme weather events.
