Job Description
Maintenance Supervisor Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm Position Summary The Supervisor of Maintenance & Facilities is responsible for leading and directing maintenance operations to ensure maximum equipment uptime, production efficiency, and facility reliability. This position oversees maintenance technicians, assigns and manages work order tickets, leads preventive and predictive maintenance programs, and holds team members accountable for safety, quality, and performance standards. The role partners closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams to minimize downtime and support continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Supervise, train, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and facility maintenance personnel. Assign, prioritize, and manage maintenance work order tickets to ensure timely completion and effective resource utilization. Hold maintenance team members accountable for productivity, workmanship, attendance, safety compliance, and completion of assigned tasks. Lead maintenance meetings to review open work orders and establish priorities based on production needs. Create, manage and continuously improve the facility's Preventive Maintenance (PM) program. Ensure all scheduled preventive maintenance activities are completed on time to maximize equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime. Monitor equipment performance and maintenance metrics and work order completion rates. Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs of manufacturing equipment, CNC machinery, electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, plumbing, and facility infrastructure. Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. Support capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and plant expansions. Maintain adequate inventory levels of spare parts, tools, and maintenance supplies. Coordinate and oversee external service providers while ensuring compliance with site safety requirements. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements and company policies. Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintenance best practices. Participate in audits and support corrective action plans as required. Qualifications 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment. 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience overseeing maintenance personnel preferred. Experience leading preventive maintenance programs in a manufacturing operation. Experience assigning, tracking, and managing work orders through a CMMS. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility systems. Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial safety practices a plus. High school diploma or GED Access to our facility (and, therefore, employment) is restricted under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR) to U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents of the United States and properly licensed foreign persons.
