Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance activities within a heavy manufacturing/foundry environment. This position will be responsible for keeping production equipment, facility systems and critical manufacturing assets operating safely, reliably and efficiently while leading a team of skilled maintenance personnel. Key Responsibilities Supervise, schedule and support maintenance technicians across all shifts to ensure adequate production coverage. Lead preventive and predictive maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and improve asset reliability. Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs involving foundry and heavy manufacturing equipment, including furnaces, molding systems, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, motors, electrical systems and material-handling equipment. Respond to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions, prioritizing repairs based on safety, production requirements and business impact. Coordinate planned shutdowns, major repairs, equipment installations and capital projects. Track maintenance performance, downtime, PM completion, repair costs and equipment reliability metrics. Manage maintenance parts, outside contractors, vendors and service providers. Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders and equipment histories through the CMMS. Ensure maintenance activities are performed safely and in compliance with company policies, OSHA requirements and applicable environmental regulations. Train, coach and develop maintenance personnel while establishing clear expectations for performance and accountability. Assist with budgeting, forecasting and planning for maintenance labor, parts, equipment and capital expenditures. Qualifications 5+ years of maintenance experience in a heavy manufacturing, foundry, metalcasting, automotive or similar industrial environment and 2+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience. Experience maintaining high-temperature and/or heavy industrial equipment is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Experience using a CMMS for work orders, PM scheduling, maintenance history and reporting. Ability to lead maintenance teams in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Willingness to work off-shifts, weekends or provide support during production emergencies as required.
Pay:
$85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
