Maintenance Director Join Our Team at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Sidney, Ohio! As a Maintenance Director, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our facility maintains its high standards of excellence and comfort for our guests. Role:
As a Maintenance Director at Shelby Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facility. This includes but is not limited to: Managing a team of maintenance staff to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations and maintenance of equipment and facilities Conducting routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems Developing and implementing maintenance schedules and budgets Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Responsibilities:
Supervise and direct maintenance staff to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks Inspect and maintain facility equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime Identify and address potential safety hazards and develop corrective actions to mitigate risks Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and capital projects Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and problem-solving
Requirements:
2 years of experience in a maintenance or management role (training provided for the right candidate!) Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred
