2nd shift - Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm Shift Differential $1.00 Cast Nylons, a Mitsubishi Chemical Advance Materials Company, is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant production equipment to support safe, efficient operations. Success in this position requires strong hands-on experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in a manufacturing environment. What you will do Troubleshoot and repair plant production equipment to support manufacturing priorities and minimize downtime. Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment according to the monthly maintenance schedule. Use the maintenance ticketing system to document repairs, downtime, and inventory usage. Read and work from hydraulic, pneumatic, fluid, and mechanical diagrams and schematics. Support safe work practices, good housekeeping, and compliance with company policies. Assist with some building maintenance as needed. Required qualifications High school diploma or GED. Completion of a manufacturing equipment maintenance program. 5 years of manufacturing experience. 5 years of experience working with electrical systems. Ability to diagnose and repair advanced hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems. Ability to read and understand fluid diagrams, hydraulic schematics, pneumatic schematics, and electrical schematics. Basic math skills, including decimal and fraction conversions and reading measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and ability to identify problems or discrepancies. Ability to communicate effectively and work well with employees across the organization. Ability to maintain records and provide reports needed for department operations. Preferred Formal maintenance training beyond minimum program requirements. Experience supporting manufacturing equipment in a maintenance department. Experience with fluid delivery, fluid monitoring, or PLC controls. Knowledge of nylon applications. Work environment This is a manufacturing environment with regular physical activity. Work areas may become dirty at times. Work may take place around elevated temperatures, including ovens and hot oil systems. Work may include servicing hot equipment such as heat-traced lines, heated valves, pumps, and related systems.
