Maintenance Manager

Job Description

Our client, a large chemical manufacturer in Pennsylvania, has an opening for a Maintenance Manager at their cutting edge manufacturing facility. The position requires a minimum of 6 years of mechanical engineering experience in a chemical plant or refinery. Experience in maintenance, materials, reliability, design engineering or related engineering field required. Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred Manage team of engineers, technicians and external contractors. Able to manage, prioritize work and motivate team. Experience developing and implementing Mechanical Integrity Programs. Strong knowledge of Root Cause Analysis, NDE and NDT. Maintain mechanical integrity processes within chemical industry and OSHA process safety standards. Manage and coordinate third party services to monitor equipment conditions and inspections. Experience working with Management of Change (MOC) documents, issuing safe work permits, developing project safety plans, and contract administration. Establish policies and productivity improvements for site reliability and operations teams. Assist in the department's goal to optimize maintenance of equipment, minimize maintenance downtime and optimize machine efficiency.
REQUIREMENTS B.S.
in Engineering - Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering preferred. Minimum of 6 years of mechanical engineering experience in a chemical plant or refinery. Previous management experience required. Ability to coordinate large projects associated with maintenance and reliability issues. Demonstrated knowledge of mechanical, industrial and electrical equipment in a chemical plant or related field is required. Predictive techniques for fixed, rotating, power distribution equipment and instrumentation e.g. vibration analysis, nondestructive testing, thermography, etc.
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
