YESPOSITION SUMMARY
The HVAC Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems throughout the District. This position oversees HVAC personnel, ensures safe and efficient work practices, and supports reliable operation of District facilities to maintain a safe and comfortable learning environment.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma orGED HVAC
Contractors license is required Minimum of five (5) years of commercial HVAC experience Previous supervisory or lead experience Valid Oklahoma driver's license EPA Refrigerant Certification Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, controls, refrigeration systems, boilers, and related Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communicationESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises and coordinates daily activities of HVAC technicians and assigned maintenance Installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs HVAC, refrigeration, and related control systems in District Schedules preventive maintenance and repair work to minimize disruption to school Inspects completed work to ensure compliance with District standards, manufacturer specifications, and applicable codes. Assists in diagnosing complex HVAC system issues and provides technical guidance to maintenance Coordinates work with contractors, vendors, school administrators, and other maintenance Assists with budget planning and recommendations for equipment replacement and capital improvement Responds to emergency maintenance calls and after-hours service needs as Trains and evaluates assigned employees on job performance, safety procedures, and technical Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance or designated supervisor.LANGUAGE AND GRAMMAR SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to compose and write grammatically correct correspondence and memos.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule form, or blueprint form.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fume or airborne particles. The employee frequently works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment will vary from somewhat loud to extremely loud. To ensure continuity of services, a different work location may be necessary in the event of a health crisis or disruptive situation that requires the closing of school and/or office buildings. An employee's eligibility for a varied work location will be determined by the superintendent of schools. Expectations and guidelines for this change will be distributed by the employee's supervisor, based on his/her role and responsibilities.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
