Job Description

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for an experienced and reliable, hands-on Maintenance Lead for a family owned client located in Clackamas, Oregon. In this position, you will be in charge of ensuring that production, handling and transportation of equipment is continually in good operating order, and will address routine preventative maintenance and repairs by developing and implementing a routine maintenance plan. Present equipment and maintenance plans to the OP monthly Develop and implement an employee class on handling equipment Teach employees how to care for their equipment Keep track of employee trainings progress Evaluate situations for solutions in regards to : cost, time frame, impact to production, labor required, adequate vs permanent solution, and overall efficiency. DETAILS $29.00/hr to start Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm Overtime available and sometimes required PTO, sick pay, vacation, medical, 401k and more!
SKILLS REQUIRED
Organizing and implementing schedules Experience in auto and light truck mechanics General fiberglass and related processes 3-4 years in equipment and repair Able to teach and communicate instructions well Discern between critical and non-critical task issues Mechanical aptitude Ability to work with all hand and power tools including : chopper gun, gelcoat gun and other common fiberglass equipment
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING
Pumps and electrical Welding and fabrication Carpentry Driving and operating forklifts Basic math skills
JOB DUTIES
Conduct regular inspections and ensure the upkeep and maintenance of all department equipment Ensure the proper working of all equipment and systems in facilities Lead a team and delegate work Keep records of all the day-to-day maintenance and service activities in facilities Evaluate the performances of the team Ensure compliance with all corporate policies and OSHA rules Place orders for parts and equipment for replacement
MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR WORK SOME WEEKENDS AND AFTER HOURS
Good communicator Computer literate with working knowledge of word and excel
Pay:
Up to $29.00 per hour
