Position Summary:

Under limited supervision, we are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor who is responsible for overseeing aspects of facility and equipment maintenance, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost‑effective operations. This role includes supervising staff, coordinating repairs, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This individual must combine technical expertise in mechanical, electrical, and systems maintenance with strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills. In addition to overseeing the Maintenance Department, this "hands on" leadership role is responsible for assisting in the troubleshooting and repair of complex machinery/systems and ensuring upkeep and improvement of our facilities.

Essential Functions:

• Directly supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff; assign tasks; provide coaching; and address performance issues with the Manufacturing Manager, attend required meetings, and participate in process development activities.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor routine, seasonal, and emergency maintenance; coordinate with contractors for specialized work
• Develop spare parts plan and ensure accurate inventory records for on-hand spares.
• Conduct regular property and equipment inspections; identify and address safety hazards; enforce safety protocols and make repairs when needed.
• May participate in defining strategies to meet quality objectives and in system reviews within the team.
• Read and interpret drawings , electrical and mechanical diagrams diagrams and machine manuals
• Responsible for prompt and regular attendance as scheduled.
• Conduct regular team meetings to ensure tasks are being completed and address concerns
• May be responsible to work overtime and other duties as assigned.
• Work directly and professionally with vendor support. Developing a good rapport with vendors is a must.
• Other duties assigned.
