We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on Industrial Maintenance & Facilities Manager to take responsibility for keeping our food and cosmetic processing equipment, utilities, and facility operational. This is not primarily a supervisory or desk-based position. We need someone who personally enjoys troubleshooting equipment, repairing and installing systems, fabricating solutions, and solving practical technical problems. The right person should be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team, adapting to new challenges, and finding practical solutions. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, agitators, valves, tanks, piping, and other process equipment. Diagnose electrical and control issues using schematics, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools. Maintain and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems, VFDs, sensors, load cells, motors, and basic process controls. Perform or coordinate stainless-steel fabrication, welding, piping, equipment modifications, and installation. Maintain facility utilities including water, RO, compressed air, vacuum, heating and cooling, plumbing, and related systems. Support processing equipment including centrifuges, filtrationsystems, dryers, mixers, heat exchangers, and membrane filtration systems. Install, modify, and commission new and used processing equipment. Perform preventive maintenance to reduce equipment failures and downtime. Prepare equipment and utilities for various production runs and assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and troubleshooting during operations. Take part in the operation of specific processes as needed. Maintain tools, spare parts, maintenance supplies, and basic maintenance records. Identify and implement practical improvements to equipment reliability, safety, and facility operations. Coordinate with equipment manufacturers and outside contractors when specialized support is required. Maintain a safe working environment and follow applicable OSHA and food-processing safety requirements. What We're Looking For We are looking for a resourceful industrial maintenance professional who knows how to get things working. Relevant experience may come from food processing, dairy, beverage, agricultural processing, seafood processing, sawmills, manufacturing, or other industrial environments. Strong experience in several of the following is preferred: Industrial mechanical maintenance Pumps, motors, gearboxes, and agitators Electrical troubleshooting and VFDs Industrial electrical systems Stainless-steel piping and fabrication Welding and equipment modification Pneumatics and valves Plumbing and HVAC Vacuum and compressed-air systems RO and membrane filtration Sensors, and process controls Food-processing equipment and sanitation/CIP Demonstrated hands-on technical ability, mechanical aptitude, reliability, and problem-solving skills are important.
