This position is responsible for managing installation projects from the time a sale is completed through final completion, while ensuring jobs are properly scheduled, staffed, permitted, completed, and communicated to the customer. We are looking for someone who understands HVAC installation, can lead a team, communicates well with customers and employees, and can keep multiple projects moving forward at the same time. Responsibilities
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SERVICE TITAN
Manage the day-to-day operations of the HVAC installation department. Oversee residential and commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish. Review sold jobs and ensure the installation team has all necessary information before the job begins. Complete and maintain the sales-to-installation handoff process. Review job scopes, equipment, materials, labor requirements, and special installation requirements. Coordinate installation crews, subcontractors, permits, inspections, equipment, and materials. Schedule and coordinate installation projects to keep jobs on track. Communicate with customers regarding project schedules, questions, changes, and concerns. Follow up on customer and field questions to ensure issues are resolved quickly. Work closely with Sales, Service, Dispatch, Warehouse, and Accounting. Monitor job progress, labor hours, materials, and overall project performance. Ensure installation crews have the proper equipment, materials, documentation, and instructions. Assist installers and foremen with technical or project-related questions when needed. Review completed installations for quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Help ensure jobs are completed according to company standards, manufacturer requirements, and applicable codes. Coordinate permits and inspections and ensure required documentation is completed. Track equipment registrations, warranties, and required project paperwork. Address installation issues, change orders, and unexpected project conditions. Help develop and improve installation procedures, checklists, and department processes. Hold installation employees accountable for quality, productivity, safety, and professionalism. Participate in hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of installation personnel. Use ServiceTitan to manage and track installation projects, job information, scheduling, and documentation. Maintain accurate project records and communicate project status to management. Qualifications Previous HVAC installation experience required. Previous HVAC leadership, foreman, project management, or installation management experience preferred. Strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and installation practices. Experience with heat pumps, gas furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and related HVAC equipment. Ability to read and understand job scopes, equipment specifications, and installation requirements. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities at the same time. Ability to lead, train, and hold employees accountable. Comfortable working with customers, technicians, installers, vendors, and subcontractors. Experience with ServiceTitan is preferred. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems as they arise. What We're Looking For The right person for this position is hands-on, organized, dependable, and a strong communicator . We need someone who can move between the office, job sites, customers, and installation crews and make sure everyone has what they need to get the job done correctly. You should be comfortable taking ownership of a project, identifying problems before they become bigger problems, and following through until the job is completed.
