Lead Factory Maintenance Mechanic

Penn Foam has an immediate opening for a dynamic and experienced Lead Factory Maintenance Mechanic to oversee and execute maintenance operations within a manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring the continuous, safe, and efficient operation of production equipment and facilities. Lead Factory Maintenance Mechanic is Full time 1ST Shift Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Penn Foam is a manufacturer of soft foam products and has been in business for over 40 years. Responsibilities Good knowledge of a variety of machines and tools, including their uses, repair and maintenance.

• Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and PLC controlled machinery.
• Basic knowledge of electrical repairs and replacing electrical wiring and electrical components of machinery.
• The ability to see details at close ranges.
• Needs to be able to do basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.)
• Must be able to read a tape measure accurately to the 1/8 inch.
• Needs to be in good physical condition: able to stand, walk, bend, lift, squat, twist, reach, push and pull in a quick and unrestricted manner.
• Must have unrestricted use of arms, legs, hands and fingers.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 4 Years Maintenance Mechanic experience
• Excellent attendance. Cannot be excessively or regularly late or absent.
• Good productivity - Must be able to work at a fast pace.
• Cooperative team attitude.
• Good communication skills. Must understand, read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Must follow verbal and written instructions and directions accurately.
• Must be drug & alcohol free at all times.
• Must not be impaired in any way while at work.
