Job Description

About the Role As a Lead Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will serve as a technical authority for high-speed production lines, ensuring optimal equipment performance and reliability. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives and mentor team members to elevate operational standards across our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities Lead complex equipment overhauls and preventative maintenance to maximize machine uptime and throughput. Perform root cause analysis on mechanical and electrical failures to implement permanent, long-term solutions. Mentor operators and junior technicians on advanced troubleshooting for blow molding, injection molding, and high-speed packaging systems. Collaborate with leadership to execute facility upgrades and integrate new process improvements. Develop and maintain technical SOPs to standardize repair procedures and enhance equipment reliability. Manage technical projects, including machine set-ups, mold changes, and precision adjustments for high-speed bottling lines. Qualifications Required Skills 6+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment. 4+ years of experience in project or team leadership. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics. Expertise in using precision measuring tools such as calipers, dial indicators, and bore gauges. Strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting PLC systems, servo motors, and variable frequency drives. High school diploma or GED equivalent. Preferred Skills Associate's degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related technical field. 10+ years of maintenance experience in high-speed manufacturing, specifically with Krones, Husky, or Sidel equipment. Advanced fabrication skills including TIG/MIG welding and machining. Experience with 480VAC/24VDC power systems and industrial communication protocols. Proven track record of driving continuous improvement and process optimization.
