Astra Foods is an elite cheese steak preferred manufacturer providing the finest quality beef and chicken products. We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Lead to join our Aston location. Job Overview The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills to maintain and repair complex machinery and systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical components, and mechanical parts Controls Engineering experience required Daily checks of equipment and walk throughs to assess punch list/tasks for the day Troubleshoot issues using schematics, technical manuals, and analysis techniques to identify root causes Operate and calibrate precision measuring instruments such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks Repair or replace components involving high voltage or low voltage electrical systems following safety protocols Conduct welding operations Maintain safety standards by working with equipment like scissor lifts and adhering to OSHA regulations Assist in the installation of new machinery or upgrades to existing systems Support field service activities as needed for equipment troubleshooting at various locations within the facility or customer sites Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings for complex mechanical and electrical systems Ensure compliance with all safety procedures during maintenance activities Able to lead a team of entry level and intermediate technicians 1st shift requirement for start time Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment Strong background working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical systems Experience with HVAC/R systems, including troubleshooting and repairs involving HVAC/R units or related equipment Hands-on welding experience Familiarity with CMMS software for maintenance management Ability to operate scissor lifts safely and efficiently Knowledge of hydraulic systems, precision measuring instruments, and electrical testing tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters Experience working with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems in an industrial setting Background in industrial electrician work or related technical fields preferred Military experience in maintenance or technical roles is a plus Strong customer service orientation with excellent analysis skills to diagnose issues effectively This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment where technical expertise is valued. Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour
