Job Description

Job Title:
Maintenance Supervisor (To view the complete description and to apply to this position, visit aiu3.net/careers) The Allegheny Intermediate Unit is seeking a full time Maintenance Supervisor.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing preventative maintenance and making general repair operations across all Allegheny Intermediate Unit (AIU) facilities, including the Central Office, special education schools (Mon Valley, Pathfinder, and Sunrise), and other owned or leased properties. This role ensures that all properties are safe, functional, and maintained in accordance with AIU policies and applicable regulations. The Maintenance Supervisor develops maintenance schedules, coordinates repairs via the work order system, supervises custodial staff, and oversees day-to-day field maintenance operations. The position requires daily use of a work vehicle to perform site visits and complete maintenance tasks.
Qualififications:
High school diploma or equivalent. School district experience required. Demonstrated experience in building maintenance (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.), facilities operations, or a related field. Working knowledge of preventative maintenance practices and general building systems. Experience with work order systems, maintenance scheduling, and inventory tracking. This is a year round position, competitive salary and comprehensive benefit plan. The AIU participates in the PSERS retirement plan. Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour
