Overview:
The Regional Quality Assurance Manager oversees and supports quality and food safety programs across multiple WCD warehouse and kitchen locations. This role ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, HACCP, SQF, Food Defense, and GMP protocols. Responsibilities include supervising QA teams, conducting inspections and audits (scheduled and unannounced), leading HACCP/Food Safety teams, managing microbiological and environmental testing programs, and maintaining documentation required by customers and vendors. The manager will analyze quality data, address nonconformances, support mock recalls, and collaborate with departments to uphold high operational, sanitation, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and enforce quality and food safety programs across regional locations Conduct internal audits, inspections, and peer reviews Supervise QA supervisors and quality control technicians Ensure compliance with HACCP, SQF, Food Defense, GMP, and regulatory requirements Manage quality control testing, environmental monitoring, and microbiological programs Lead investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions Coordinate mock recalls and maintain vendor/customer documentation Support warehouse operations, safety standards, and staff evaluations
Qualifications:
HACCP Certification (required) Food Defense Certification (required) SQF Practitioner certification (preferred) 2+ years of warehouse supervision experience, preferably in wholesale Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel, WMS/Gold) Strong communication and leadership skills
Physical & Work Environment:

Pay:
$75,000.00 per year
