Job Description

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor II to lead on-site maintenance activities in our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will supervise a team of technicians, ensuring reliable operation of production and plant equipment through effective preventive and corrective maintenance. You will champion a strong safety culture, uphold environmental and quality standards, and leverage a CMMS to plan work, track performance, and reduce downtime. You will coordinate contractors, manage parts and maintenance costs, and drive continuous improvement efforts to support efficiency, sustainability, and long-term asset reliability while developing the technical and leadership capabilities of your team. Responsibilities Lead and supervise maintenance technicians in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on production and plant equipment. Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and company standards. Use a CMMS to schedule work, track downtime, and maintain accurate records. Coordinate contractors and vendors for specialized repair and service work. Monitor maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and cost controls. Train and mentor team members to build technical and safety competencies. Support continuous improvement, reliability, and root cause analysis initiatives. Partner with operations leadership to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
