Job Description
Education & Experience Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in industrial environment Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required Valid Driver's License required PLC and robotics experience preferred Qualifications Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, pneumatic, and hydraulic system knowledge Experience with cranes, forklifts, welding, machining equipment, and hand/power tools Basic computer and math skills, including use of measuring devices Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work flexible schedules and maintain a strong safety and quality focus Responsibilities Direct, oversee, and evaluate the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures that include setup actions for product runs; calibrating and repairing pneumatic systems; inspection of belts, fluid levels, filters, bearings, seals, etc.; and providing corrective actions as required. Develop and implement schedules and procedures for preventive maintenance programs. Oversee inside/outside repair actions for buildings and grounds following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures. Oversee inside/outside, minor/major emergency repairs as required for buildings, grounds, machines, and equipment following standard operating, safety, and quality procedures. Conduct and complete employee performance reviews; recommend personnel actions such as hirings, promotions, or unbiased discipline; and prepare maintenance and/or other shift reports as required. Oversee computerized control and monitoring of mechanical equipment. Coordinate and/or oversee cleanup actions adhering to housekeeping requirements after maintenance or repair actions are completed.
