Summary We are seeking a Hotel Chief Engineer to join our team at Holiday Inn. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and engineering operations of the hotel, ensuring that all systems function efficiently and effectively to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our guests. Responsibilities Lead and manage the engineering team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently. Oversee the operation and maintenance of all hotel systems including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance the longevity of equipment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in all engineering practices. Manage projects related to renovations or upgrades within the hotel facilities. Review schematics and technical documents to guide repair and installation processes. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in hotel or facility maintenance. Strong electrical skills with knowledge of low voltage systems. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in supervising staff and coordinating maintenance schedules. Familiarity with project management principles is a plus.
