Maintenance Manager Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and manage maintenance technicians and support staff. Oversee daily maintenance operations, work orders, and preventive maintenance programs. Ensure timely completion of repairs, unit turns, and property improvement projects. Manage maintenance related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, and general building systems. Coordinate with vendors and contractors, including obtaining bids and managing project execution. Maintain accurate records, inventories, and maintenance schedules. Participate in apartment inspections and unit readiness processes. Respond to emergency maintenance issues and participate in an on-call rotation as needed. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Assist with maintaining the overall appearance of the property, including common areas, grounds, and snow removal as needed. Qualifications Previous maintenance management or supervisory experience in a multi-family community. Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general maintenance. Proven leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
