Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Maintenance Supervisor/Technician to lead and execute maintenance operation at our Fox Chapel Facility. This role is vital in ensuring the optimal performance, safety, and reliability of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, technical expertise in industrial maintenance, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairs. Duties Supervise and complete daily maintenance activities, managing facilities maintenance to ensure timely completion of repair and upkeep tasks. Complete routine daily tasks including light carpentry, trash removal and some janitorial work while following established safety regulations and maintenance procedures. Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to plan, schedule, and document maintenance activities effectively. Conduct troubleshooting techniques to help resolve various maintenace issue within the building Manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs, ensuring adherence to safety standards such as OSHA regulations while meeting project deadlines. Lead safety initiatives by enforcing OSHA compliance protocols, conducting safety audits, and training team members on proper procedures. Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for mechanical systems, HVAC units, plumbing systems, and electrical infrastructure to minimize downtime. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and repair logs to optimize operational efficiency. Collaborate with management on facilities management strategies that improve safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. Requirements Proven supervising experience with strong leadership skills in managing facilities maintenance teams or industrial maintenance crews. Hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and troubleshooting. Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry systems. Familiarity with HVAC system repair, plumbing system maintenance, schematics reading, and industrial maintenance procedures. Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards related to facilities management and industrial environments. Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination. Ability to interpret technical schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques effectively.
