The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the facilities maintenance department. This position will supervise the maintenance staff with responsibility for the production. You will make an impact in this role by: Directly supervise mechanics and accomplish yearly reviews. Develop daily work schedules and establish yearly goals. Develop and keep current the Preventative Maintenance program. Utilize the computerized maintenance management program (CMMS) for work order management, inventory tracking, equipment trends, and personnel utilization. Manage equipment moves and the relocation of utilities. Ensure employees accomplish their required training. Order parts as needed and document in the CMMS. Provide input to the Facilities Manager for the annual budget. Work with the accounting department to properly classify and process invoices. Develop vendor and contractor relationships. Troubleshoot or aid in the repairs of equipment. Support the safety program and ensure compliance with applicable policies and codes. Support OPEX activities as required. The supervisor will function as a backup to the Facilities Manager on facilities related issues. This individual will become familiar with the following information for all Bethlehem facilities: Electrical services and locations of the major components at each facility Plumbing locations for the water and sewer Access control Roof repairs HVAC PM schedules and equipment repairs IT related requirements Contracts for landscaping, snow removal, HVAC PMs, and compressors Annual fire and crane inspections Requirements Key skills and attributes include: Ability to read, analyze and interpret, technical procedures, and schematics. Familiar with computer-based system operation. Knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes and capabilities. Ability to draft reports correspondence and procedure manuals. Able to develop effective relationships with supervisors, managers, and contractors. To be considered for the Maintenance Supervisor role, you must have the following minimum qualifications: High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience. Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
