Kreider Farms is seeking a dependable, hands-on Property Maintenance Lead to help maintain and improve our facilities, equipment, and property. We're looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, working with their hands. This is a perfect job for a "jack-of-all-trades" that has the skills to be a trim/finish carpenter but wants some variety in the work they do. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance on buildings and facilities Complete carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical work Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues as they arise Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections Assist with upkeep of grounds and property Proficient in operating hand and power tools safely Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner - sometimes on "off" hours Support facility projects and improvements as needed Qualifications 3+ years of experience in carpentry, general construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field Working knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and general repairs Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record required Experience operating heavy equipment, and driving large trucks preferred Ability to pass background check and/or MVR What We Offer Full-time, steady employment Paid Holidays and Paid time off Great Health, Dental, Vision & other insurances 401k/Roth IRA with a company match Opportunity to work for a growing, family-owned company If you enjoy working with your hands and want to help keep our facilities operating at their best, we'd love to hear from you.
