Location Description The Meadville, Pennsylvania facility is 135,000 square feet and home to about 290 hard working team members who are proud to produce iconic pet food brands like Rachael Ray® Nutrish ®. Located along the banks of French Creek in Northwestern Pennsylvania and 45 minutes from Pittsburgh, Meadville is home to more than 13,000 full time residents and 2,000 Allegheny College students. Meadville is an active center for business, industry, education, the arts, recreation, service and tourism. Conneaut Lake, Pymatuning State Park and the Erie National Wildlife Refuge are wonderful places to appreciate the area's natural beauty. Responsibilities PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES and
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures a safe work environment for team by demonstrating and enforcing safe behavior. Ensures Food Safety & Quality program is adhered to. All Staff shall be informed of their responsibility to report food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action. Provide tools and environment to ensure food safety. Meet all quality measures on product being produced. Sense of Urgency to escalate Quality or Food Safety issues. Provide tools and environment to ensure quality yields are being met. Build and execute effective daily plans to achieve finished goods schedule. Participate in pre-shift meetings, leading assigned portion. Implement mid shift corrections. Make cost-conscious business decisions in alignment with all key accountabilities Understand, prioritize and eliminate losses. Communicate effectively with necessary resources offsite. Creates a positive work environment for team. Build and leverage team to achieve goals. Provide feedback to assigned team members on daily basis Hold mid-year and year-end performance discussion with assigned team members With team, develop and implement state of the team improvement plan Develop team members to successfully perform current and future roles Assumes responsibility for own personal development and continuous learning. Keeps abreast on new technology, methods and regulations related to responsibilities Practices customer intimacy with internal and external customers in day to day responsibilities Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Training:
GED/High School Diploma & Relevant Experience Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance at an industrial manufacturing facility (Required) Minimum of 2 years in a maintenance supervisory role (Strongly preferred) Training from a technical school/apprenticeship program in mechanical and/or electrical. (Preferred) Strong Troubleshooting and problem-solving experience Ability to plan, prioritize and schedule work with a focus on uptime and returning equipment to "Like New" condition. Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical and PLC's Experience in a heavily automated facility. Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints is a must
