Job Description
Supervisor Responsibilities Lead maintenance team members and support the Maintenance Supervisor in completing daily maintenance activities and projects. PLC experience is required. Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), including troubleshooting, diagnosing issues, and supporting PLC-controlled machinery and equipment. Perform electrical, mechanical, fabrication, assembly, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks on industrial equipment and systems. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and maintain accurate work records in the Maintenance Management/PM System. Plan and lay out projects, order parts and materials, and train personnel in the safe and efficient use of equipment and processes. Champion safety, quality, and lean manufacturing initiatives and ensure team members follow all required safety programs and procedures. Qualifications and Skills High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year post-secondary trade school education in industrial electricity and/or mechanics, or equivalent experience, is preferred. At least 5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance setting with advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair skills. Previous supervisory or team leader experience strongly preferred; experience supporting maintenance in a metals manufacturing facility is also strongly preferred. Forklift operator license or ability to obtain one with training; strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and computer skills required. Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment, wear required PPE and a respirator, lift up to 25 lbs. regularly and 50-100 lbs. occasionally, climb stairs, and stand for extended periods. Must be able to travel between both New Castle facilities and be available for overtime, extra shifts, and occasional coverage or projects as needed. Benefits/Compensation Full Time Pay Rate is $32-$38 per hour 3rd
