$180,000 - $210,000 DOE + BonusEstablished in 2015, we are a power-generation operator that manages a state-of-the-art coal-fired waste facility built in 2004, employing roughly 135 people to support reliable baseload energy for the PJM grid. As the largest waste-coal plant in the U.S., we produce enough electricity for 650,000+ homes while reducing regional environmental impact through CFB combustion and mine-land reclamation. As we continue to grow, our facility in New Florence is seeking a Plant Manager to lead all aspects of station operations, maintenance, safety, environmental compliance, and financial performance for our circulating fluidized bed generating station.

What You Will Be DoingProvide overall leadership and direction for plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and support functions while ensuring a safe and environmentally compliant workplaceManage the facility's profitability by maximizing plant reliability, availability, and generation output while controlling operating and maintenance costsLead and develop a workforce of salaried and union employees, fostering accountability, employee engagement, continuous improvement, and professional developmentOversee strategic initiatives including reliability improvements, planned outages, capital projects, cost reduction efforts, and long-term operational planningServe as the primary liaison with plant ownership, regulatory agencies, community stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and union leadership while managing the plant's participation in PJM energy marketsWhat You Need for This Position7+ years of experience in power generation, with at least 3 years in a plant leadership, supervisory, or management role. Experience in a circulating fluidized bed (CFB) facility is strongly preferredStrong understanding of power plant operations, maintenance, reliability programs, environmental compliance, and safety management systemsDemonstrated experience managing plant financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, P&L responsibility, and strategic business initiativesExperience working in a unionized environment with proven success managing labor relations, workforce planning, and employee developmentKnowledge of power market operations, including PJM bidding processes, generation economics, and large-scale utility or independent power producer (IPP) operationsWhat's In It for YouFull benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, LTD/STD, 401k with matching) and more!
