Job Description

Maintenance Supervisor, 2nd Shift New Kensington, PA Full-Time A food and beverage manufacturing facility is hiring a 2nd shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance teams across the plant, facilities, utilities, and powerhouse. This role oversees installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of critical equipment, with direct responsibility for minimizing downtime and supporting production efficiency across the facility. Schedule Full-time, 2nd shift. Compensation $80,000 to $100,000 per year, plus bonus. What You'll Do This supervisor leads teams of maintenance mechanics and electricians in predictive and preventive maintenance as well as machine repairs, and trains employees on proper work methods and safety procedures. The role supervises maintenance systems, processes, and documentation, and ensures maintenance is scheduled in coordination with Production to address equipment and facility repairs. This position develops and implements maintenance systems, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs, TPM, SOPs, and safety protocols, and provides both long-term solutions and day-to-day support for troubleshooting and equipment failures. The supervisor develops and maintains KPIs for tracking maintenance performance, including supplier performance, contractor performance, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness, and provides regular status reports to the maintenance management team. This role ensures maintenance tasks comply with USDA regulations and maintains accurate records of maintenance work and inventory. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, plus 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience providing training, coaching, or mentoring to less experienced staff, or managing a process or project Ability to lead problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts on high-level process issues Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Preferred Qualifications Advanced technical skills in ammonia refrigeration, high-pressure boilers, compressed air systems, and mechanical/electrical fields (PLCs, instrumentation, mechanical engineering) Ability to lead resource planning efforts in a large manufacturing environment Thorough knowledge of maintenance systems, work order processes, preventive/predictive maintenance, TPM, and inventory/scheduling software Strong leadership skills, including conflict resolution, facilitation, change management, and delegation Bilingual Compensation and Benefits $80,000 to $100,000 per year, plus bonus Standard benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO) To apply, submit your resume for consideration.
