Job Summary We are seeking an ambitious, strategic Service Manager to oversee our shop operations, work order lifecycle, and fleet management. In this role, you will not just manage tasks—you will drive revenue. You will be directly responsible for scaling shop profitability, maximizing technician efficiency, and cultivating a high-performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities Revenue & Work Order Management Strategic Selection:
Evaluate and prioritize high-value, high-margin work orders to maximize daily revenue.
Workflow Optimization:
Efficiently assign work orders, coordinate daily schedules, and manage on-road service calls.
Financial Oversight:
Manage the end-to-end billing process for external work orders, price-shop major service scenarios, and optimize outsourced shop coordination.
Parts & Logistics:
Partner closely with the Parts Manager to accelerate parts acquisition and reduce equipment downtime.
People Leadership & Culture Performance Tracking:
Hold technicians accountable to strict Quality Control (QC) standards and key performance metrics.
Talent Development:
Lead the talent management cycle, executing continuous technician training and onboarding.
Culture Builder:
Foster a fast-paced, high-functioning team environment rooted in mutual accountability and safety.
Fleet & Shop Operations Asset Management:
onboarding of new fleet items, used equipment life cycle, and preventative maintenance (PM) schedules.
Inventory Control:
Maintain standard stock equipment inventory levels to prevent operational bottlenecks.
Shop Optimization:
Continuous improvement of shop layout, tool management, supply lines, and cost center margins.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
