Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailers, including brake systems, electrical components, and HVAC systems. Diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Repair or replace shocks, struts, air brakes, and other essential components. Conduct diesel engine repairs as necessary to ensure optimal performance. Utilize power tools effectively for various repair tasks. Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each trailer. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety standards. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in trailer repair techniques. on call rotation Experience Proven experience in equipment repair, particularly with trailers or heavy-duty vehicles. Familiarity with power tools and their safe usage in a mechanical environment. Knowledge of diesel engine repair, brake repair, shocks, struts, HVAC systems, electrical systems, and air brake functionality is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A commitment to safety protocols and quality workmanship.
