The Position:

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the daily direction of the maintenance technician crew: scheduling and assigning work, ensuring safety and LOTO compliance on the floor, keeping the CMMS accurate, and making sure spare parts are available to keep the plant running. The Supervisor works closely with the Maintenance Manager to execute the site's maintenance standards and with EHS and HR on training and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and assign daily work to all maintenance technicians; ensure CMMS work order records are accurate and timely. Ensure shift passdowns between technicians are happening, and that they are precise and useful. Ensure all maintenance technicians adhere to company safety policy, including LOTO requirements. Work closely with the Maintenance Manager and EHS to ensure technicians receive proper training. Ensure all new hires are properly trained, either directly or through Level III technicians. Ensure escalation procedures are followed and that escalations are addressed in a timely manner. Own spare parts accuracy for the crew: verify parts counts, track consumption, and submit purchase requisitions (PRs) for replenishment; work closely with the Maintenance Manager on minimum/maximum stocking levels. Work with the HR department to track and document attendance, safety records, and related documentation. Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues alongside the crew as needed. Collaborate with production to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability and performance. Assist in equipment installations and upgrades. All other responsibilities as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

Technical diploma/associate degree required or 2 years in a supervisory position and 10 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 4+ years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing maintenance environment, including experience directing or coordinating the work of other technicians. Strong knowledge of both electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, VFDs, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems. Ability to read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and manuals. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong working knowledge of CMMS systems, including work order management and parts/inventory tracking. Basic computer skills for documentation and system input. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments. Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.

Compensation:

$41-$43/hr, commensurate with experience

Pay:

Up to $43.00 per hour
