Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a solid background in industrial maintenance. The Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the performance of an hourly, unionized work force through the scheduling of work assignments and follow-up of assignments; record keeping and scheduling of preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting equipment, as necessary.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise maintenance staff to ensure efficient operation
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve issues
  • Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Oversee facility upgrades and renovations
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in industrial maintenance and facilities management
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and work with logic controllers
  • Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems
  • Proficiency in project management to execute maintenance projects effectively
