Company Overview Elk Mountain Ski Resort Inc. is a premier ski and snowboard destination nestled in a scenic mountain setting. Established in 1959, the resort boasts exceptional skiing conditions and advanced snowmaking capabilities, attracting winter sports enthusiasts from around the region. Terrain Park Supervisor / Maintenance Team Member Join the Elk Mountain Team! We are seeking a motivated, energetic, and dependable individual to join our team in a unique year-round position that combines off-season maintenance responsibilities with in-season leadership opportunities in our Terrain Park. Off-Season Responsibilities (April through Mid-November) During the off-season, this position focuses on general property maintenance and upkeep, including: Painting and facility improvements Groundskeeping and landscaping Minor building and equipment repairs General maintenance projects as assigned Assisting with resort preparations for the upcoming winter season
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM In-Season Responsibilities (Mid-November through March) As the winter season begins, this role transitions into a Terrain Park Supervisor position. The supervisor will lead the terrain park team and help create a safe, engaging, and innovative experience for guests.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and scheduling terrain park staff Assisting with terrain park design, setup, and maintenance Ensuring all features meet safety and operational standards Monitoring guest safety and promoting responsible park etiquette Training, coaching, and supporting team members Collaborating with Mountain Operations and Ski Patrol to ensure efficient daily operations Maintaining a positive guest experience and addressing concerns professionally Qualifications Must be 18+ years of age Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of terrain parks, skiing, or snowboarding preferred Experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, or related fields is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable, punctual, and willing to take initiative What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is passionate about winter sports, enjoys working outdoors, and takes pride in maintaining a safe and enjoyable environment for guests and staff alike.
