Job Description

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor II to lead on-site maintenance activities at our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will supervise technicians, coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure high equipment reliability to support safe, efficient production of construction materials. You will oversee troubleshooting of mechanical and basic electrical issues, manage work orders via CMMS, and collaborate closely with operations. You will champion a safety-first, compliance-focused culture while mentoring staff, driving continuous improvement, and supporting plant reliability and cost-control goals in a stable, growth-oriented environment. Responsibilities Supervise and schedule maintenance technicians to support 24/7 plant operations. Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime. Ensure strict compliance with safety, environmental, and company standards. Use CMMS to track work orders, parts, and maintenance history. Coordinate with operations and production to align maintenance with plant needs. Manage contractors and vendors for specialized maintenance work. Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Train and mentor technicians to build technical and leadership capabilities. Support budgeting, spare parts management, and reliability improvement projects.
